Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is one of the most widely used and well-researched forms of psychological treatment. It is particularly suitable for individuals experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, or other forms of emotional distress who want to learn practical ways to improve their well-being.
CBT is based on the idea that thoughts and behaviors influence our feelings. By understanding the relationship between thoughts, behaviors, and emotions, individuals can gain better control over their well-being.
Participants will learn to cope with limiting emotional states by using CBT methods. This involves learning to recognize the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that influence how we feel, and finding ways to break the cycle of distress.
