Learning outcomes

The student must show knowledge and understanding of:

• Computer hardware and key components
• Operating systems, servers, and cloud solutions
• Securing and protecting computer equipment and operating systems
• Data processing in accordance with the law and regulations

The student must have acquired the ability to:

• Repair computers and replace components
• Install and use common software
• Solve simple technical problems in operating systems and networks
• Follow pre-determined procedures and rules in the workplace

The student must be able to apply the general knowledge and skills he/she has acquired to:

• Perform common hardware and software settings and updates
• Perform simple error and troubleshooting tracing and repairs
• Work independently according to workplace regulations, provide satisfactory services, and participate in constructive communication
• Maintain knowledge, monitor innovation in the field and work towards continuous improvement

Program structure

Usually the program is taught twice a week and the timetable allows for teaching on Saturdays (flipped learning). There are no exams, but an 80% attendance rate is required to graduate. We offer live distance learning which means that you can study with us wherever you are in the world. An emphasis is placed on flipped learning.

Length of study

334 hrs (196 hrs with an instructor and 148 hrs home study).
